WEAKNESSES: He's very forgetful at times. Whether it be names of people or the steps of a science experiment. He'll often leave out the vital steps of an experiment and laugh it off saying "it probably wasn't that important anyway". His biggest weakness is bugs. He hates them with a burning passion. If you look around his classroom, you'll find cans upon cans of bug spray. He also carries a small can with him just in case. If he sees a bug, he'll freak out and throw things at it or jump on a nearby object so he can get out of its way. Depending on the size and how ugly the bug is, it can even make him physically ill. This is also a problem when it comes to him using his persona, since it takes the form of a huge centipede. He's always very hesitant to use it and sometimes he'll feel sick afterwords. Also has a weakness for candy but.. that's nothing really major :[
STRENGTHS: Despite him forgetting things easily, he can actually store vast amounts of information in his head. It just takes him a while to remember it. Of course, "a while" can be anywhere from a few minutes to the next day, but if you ask him a question he can't remember the answer to, he will tell you eventually. It's also safe to say that when it comes to formulas and equations, he solves them with great ease. He's the kind of guy who would do equations in his spare time because he finds them fun. He's not really a light weight when it comes to physical fights, he can take a lot of punches before he's down for the count.

PERSONALITY: On the outside, he can be seen as a carefree guy. He loves to joke and can always sees the light side of things, no matter how bad you think your problem is. He's always willing to lend an ear if you have something you need to bitch about. It could be anything from how you didn't get what you wanted for lunch to how you're having problems at home. You name it, he'll listen. He really isn't one to give detention or tell on a student if they're doing something that could get them in trouble, like drinking alcohol. In fact, if you gave him the money, he would buy the alcohol for you. He kind of puts out a big brother vibe.
For all the problems he listens to, though, he honestly couldn't give a damn. He rarely ever gives good advice, if any, on the situations you tell him. He's just trying to gain your trust so you'll tell him more stuff since he knows some of his students must be able to see the Dark Hour like he can and might have information pertaining to his daughter. He'll never show his uncaring side, though. Only if you were trying to stand in his way would he let you know just how much of an annoying pest you are.
BACKGROUND: Born from a Japanese father and an American mother, Kajiwara Kuma really stood out with his blonde hair and green eyes. His looks got him a lot of attention in elementary school; both negative and positive. During a school trip to a park in the fourth grade, he was dared by a couple of boys to enter a dark cave. Wanting to fit in, he ventured into the cave with a small flashlight. A few minutes into the cave, he heard an odd rustling sound above him. Shining the light upwards, he found the source of the noise was from a multitude of centipedes that were crawling on the cave ceiling. As the centipedes fell onto him, all he could do was scream until a teacher saved him. Since that time he has harbored a strong fear towards all kinds of bugs.
Shortly after Kuma's incident, his mother decided that it might be a good idea to broaden his horizons. This is when Kuma and his parents moved to the USA. During his stay, it became apparent that he had a natural talent for science. He was able to learn formulas and master experiments in no time. By the time his family moved back to Japan when he was 17, he was already well on his way to obtaining the education to get his dream job; a science teacher.
During his last year at high school, he met a charming woman whom he began dating. When he was 19, she became pregnant, and they decided to get married. The day his daughter was born was the happiest day of his life. He had always wanted a child of his own so he could be a loving and responsible father.
Unfortunately, all good things eventually come to an end and after his daughters 6th birthday, Kuma and his wife got a divorce. The daughter went to live with the mother, only seeing Kuma on weekends. His daughter was extremely stressed over the situation and told him that she had started having horrible nightmares where the streets were filled with blood and there were coffins everywhere. Kuma automatically assumed that his ex-wife and her new boyfriend were treating his daughter badly. Anytime he confronted them about it, he was met with stunned looks and denial. All of this continued up until a few days after his daughters 7th birthday when she disappeared into the night and never came back. Being that she had been staying with Kuma at the time, his wife suspected that he had done something to get back at her. He was shunned by both his and his ex-wife's families, even if the police could find no incriminating evidence, they still blamed him.
After that, nothing mattered anymore. His daughter was gone and he was blamed for it. On the outside he was the same person he had always been, but on the inside was a constant anger that wouldn't go away. Why even bother helping people if you're just going to get screwed over in the end? All his life was a waste.
That's when the dreams began. The same dreams his daughter had had. Maybe she really wasn't gone like he had thought. Maybe she had just gotten stuck somewhere in that time. After doing some research about two years later, he stumbled upon NeoStrega. Being a teacher that many students trusted, it was easy for him to get information out of them, and that information could just be of use to them. After talking his way in, he was given an evoker and for the first time was able to see his persona, which unfortunately made him violently ill the first time. Though not as bad as the first time he summoned it, he still gets very nauseous when he uses it so he saves it for dire situations.
